I’m a surgeon, I’ve been in a mask for forty years of my life and until now, until 2020 I never heard that masks made a difference to viral transmission. This is a new narrative.
I think this is a nonsense narrative. You don’t need a medical degree….or a lot of science to figure this out….. a little common sense goes a long way.
The strongest argument for mask wearing is that is sounds good. The strongest argument against mask wearing is that it doesn’t work at all, but it actually might be worse than that.
Seasonal coronaviruses are very tiny particles.
Surgical masks are worn for two reasons: to prevent blood and fluid from splashing on the wearer and to prevent accidental spitting or drawling into an open wound.
This myth violates what her own literature says.
